If true, he seems to have a habit of screwing up in the very next Novembers after Olympics...

At least he owned up to it...
As opposed to what, claiming that it wasn't him in the photo? Anyway, the only thing he "owned up to" was a vague reference to "regrettable" behavior. He read a prepared statement from one of his agents/advisors. Very impressive indeed.
