Well, in a round about way. We swam on the same summer league team as kids and was her Asst. coach when I was in High School (she is 5 years younger than me). We didn't date until my late 20's when we ran into each other in Buckhead (the old 'bar district' in ATL). The rest as they say "is history".:applaud:
Nope... just H.S. "sweethearts." Was never really interested in swimmers anyways. It's kind of fun to teach him certain things about the strokes and to try to get him to swim butterfly. ;)
You should have seen the look on his face after he sat through one of those really long invitationals for the first time...
Nope, in a country western bar. Our 23rd anniversary is in 3 weeks. I am a morning person, he is an evening person. I swim and do a little running. He runs and does even less swimming. He keeps getting hurt running (now on his second fractured hip) :cane:, I have kept healthy swimming - knock on wood. :fish2:
She was a senior at UCSB and at an alumni meet and was dancing on a table at a bar in Isla Vista we all went to afterwards...she slipped and fell into me, Van Halen "Jump" was playing, I acted way to cool...ignored her...but ran into her 4 years later at another alumni meet...got married 18 months later...and now its been the best 15 years of her life! :)
