Making a cold tolerable

I have had a cold for the past 6 days and for the last two I've found a combination of drugs that have made it tolerable enough to let me swim. I take Nyquil (generic kind) an hour before bedtime and Musinex D just before I leave for work. At approximately 5pm, I take a 1/2 dose of the Musinex D. I feel good enough to practice for a little while (45 min). If you have things that work for you please pass them along. Thanks, Coach T.

I agree with you. Even with washing my hands an inordinate number of times per day, I still managed to pick up some nastiness during my vacation Is washing one's hands really effective? Think of the actions: 1- I turn the water ON with my dirty hands, thus depositing germs on the tap/faucet 2- I scrub my hands to the point that my total weight goes down a couple of lbs, then 3- I pick up the germs I had previously deposited, as I turn the water OFF Multiply that by the number of people who have touched the faucet.
