Making a cold tolerable

I have had a cold for the past 6 days and for the last two I've found a combination of drugs that have made it tolerable enough to let me swim. I take Nyquil (generic kind) an hour before bedtime and Musinex D just before I leave for work. At approximately 5pm, I take a 1/2 dose of the Musinex D. I feel good enough to practice for a little while (45 min). If you have things that work for you please pass them along. Thanks, Coach T.

  • I read an article about Serial Killers in Vanity Fair magazine years ago. This one guy said that after his crimes, he was so hyped up and excited that the only thing that would let him calm down again and get some sleep was Nyquil. I always wondered why Vicks didn't build an ad campaign around this. Nyquil, it's not just for serial killers (TM). Has USMS approached this company for a sponsorship deal? Stillwater, your jellyfish reference was the most disgusting floater description I've come across since Brooklyn whitefish. I might just have to take me a nip of Nyquil to get these images out of my mind.
