Poll: How many meets do you swim in one year?

SCY: 5 SCM: I am going to 2 in the next few weeks. 11/23 in Long Island and 12/5-12/7 at Rutgers. LCM: 5 including LCM Nationals

Would it be interesting to ask what total distance people raced in a given year? (the sum of all of your race distances) Interesting question. In 5 meets I've swam: 1100yards, 650 meters. Total time spent racing: 20:30.23

This year was my all time high for competing. So far - 9 pool meets (7 USMS and 2 USS) and 2 Open Water (10K and 25K). I'm slated for 2 more USMS meets this year which would bring the total to 11 pool meets and 2 OW. As for distance raced in 2008: Pool Meets 5000 yds + 3950 meters Or around 9320 yds raced so far this year in the pool Still 2 meets to go. . . OW Events 35K or 21.7 miles That seems like a LOT!

I've only swam in 7 meets, total, in my life time... but they've all been in the last 14 months. The more I swim, the more I want to swim!
