Agreed. The order of events is a pooch screw. I don't think it really matters what your favorite events are, unless you're a one-stroke swimmer.

OK. Here's one person who LOVES the event order:
Friday: 400 free
Saturday: 200 fly, 200 free, 200 IM
Sunday: 400 IM, 100 IM and then a "fun" event like a 50 free or 100 fly
The Chicago meet info is not online yet. There's a certain person (not me) that needs to get on it but I'll let him get power back (I hope he has power now) before I openly chastize him.
I can try to find the order of events from last year but it may change as it was not favorable to many - the meet director is trying to find a new order (or so I have been lead to believe).
As for Colony zones being superior - obviously the combo of Chicago (over wherever the heck it is New Jersey) and me is enough to win over some from that zone - I'm surprised you aren't all booking flights to Chicago - I should make some deals with some of you to lure you over to the best meet being held that weekend ... hmmm ....
Wow! I got the entry form last week and it stated that the 1500 was on Sunday. I guess that the meet organizers did a last minute switch-a-roo. Darn! Darn! Darn! Well, since this is the case, I will definitely do one event on Friday night. This is no way that I will do the 800, 400 and then 10 hours later a 1500. I do want to do the 800 and 1500 to challenge myself. All in all, it is nice that the 800 and 1500 aren't on the same day.

The order should be 800 free on Friday, 400 free SAt afternoon and 1500 on Sunday. Spread them out a bit. Why do meet directors around here come up with their order of events?! This is what we use in the NW and very few complaints.
