Glad I found this site! I swam competitively for about 10 years until my freshman year of college where I just gave it up because I was burned out. It's been 20 years and I just started up a few weeks ago. I had a break of 10 days or so from an illness but I am back in the swing of things. I'm focused right now on building my endurance again and that is coming along. It's amazing how good technique is sooo key to swimming fast. I have about 50lbs I can lose and yet I can keep up or pass many people in the pool who have been swimming regularly much longer than I have. It's great to be doing this again!

Mary-welcome back to swimming :-) Do you have team in Columbus you are training with yet? I know there are several around the area. I live near Dayton and train down there but work in downtown Columbus. Maybe I will see you at a meet in the future. I'll be the idiot swimming the 200 fly :-) Have fun and good luck with the swimming. Greg
