I'm curious if anyone who is not involved with USMS or their LMSC knows what rules are being proposed (aside from the no nationals outside US we've already discussed)?
Personally I'd love to see more attempts by USMS to post polls on this forum that summarize the proposals and for the LMSC's to try and "poll" their own constituents as to how they would like for them to vote on the proposals.
With the convention starting next week I really haven't dug to deeply into it and have not heard anything from the members of our LMSC as to what they will vote for/against...granted I could ask but in general I think most of us would like to have th info filtered down and sent out/posted.

I'm against wetsuits, too. If some of my *former* associates had worn wetsuits, I would not be free to peruse this forum. And why should USMS create a new division to help grow interest in open water swimming? They are doing just fine with 120 people at the national open water events, let USA triathlon get all of the money from the hundreds of wetsuit swimmers! Elitists unite as aqueous luddites! Blinders for everyone.
