What will be voted on next week at convention?

I'm curious if anyone who is not involved with USMS or their LMSC knows what rules are being proposed (aside from the no nationals outside US we've already discussed)? Personally I'd love to see more attempts by USMS to post polls on this forum that summarize the proposals and for the LMSC's to try and "poll" their own constituents as to how they would like for them to vote on the proposals. With the convention starting next week I really haven't dug to deeply into it and have not heard anything from the members of our LMSC as to what they will vote for/against...granted I could ask but in general I think most of us would like to have th info filtered down and sent out/posted.

Paul, The Rules proposals are all available here: www.usms.org/.../proposals.pdf You can also get there from the USMS home page by clicking: Administration >>> Convention >>> 2008 Convention Information >>> "Proposed Changes to USMS Rules and Legislation" Rules proposals are all numbered sequentially, like R-1, R-2, etc. Housekeeping proposals are numbered like HK-1, HK-2. Long Distance proposals are numbered like LD-1, LD-2, etc. This packet became available on the web (to those "not involved with USMS") before it was mailed to the LMSC delegates. Being "involved" with USMS doesn't mean we get any inside scoop. I'm on the Board but I got no advance information - I had to read them like everyone else!
