I recently injured my foot doing something really stupid. It seems to have the least amount of pain if I can keep the arch taped up. Good old athletic tape doesn't have what it takes to survive in the swimming pool. Does anyone have any ideas of another kind of tape that I could use? I thought about duct tape, but I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to get the sticky residue off of my foot.

You have to tell us what the "something really stupid" was.
I didn't listen when my heel told me to stop running, and tried to finish the last 3 miles of a run. I was about 50 feet from my car when there was a pop in the side of my foot. :notworking:
Depending on the triggering mechanism, you might want something that leaves really sticky residue, or perhaps even permanent residue, as a cautionary reminder to avoid doing this "something really stupid" again in the future.
I'm thinking I deserve to have STUPID tattooed on my forehead for this one.
For the first week I wasn't allowed to do anything for exercise. I can now do the elliptical without any pain and swimming if I am careful pushing off the wall. I'm going to get really good at very slow and careful turns.
Thanks for all the advice on the tape.
