Phelps has a Tattoo

If you earn the right to wear the Olympic rings, you can place that tattoo anywhere you want!

Tom Dolan has the same tattoos.. olympic rings and Michigan M. Tom Wilkens has the Olympic rings and the Stanford S, also in the same location. Must be olympic tradition..

I'm a big tattoo fan but the Olympic ring thing is stupid. If you are gonna get the rings, do something unique with them, like have shark swimming through them or something. My neighbor, the dermatologist, says tattoos are job security for him, especially the tribal variety which are so awful that their body life is very short.Alain Bernard actually has a shark, on the same location Phelps has his M. Fred Bousquet also has a big tattoo on his chest.

Does having a tatoo have any impact on a swimmer's performance? College swimmers like them. Gets 'em riled up. Yep, nothing like having the team mascot on your back...forever.
