The Phelps tat's are old news.
What is Bush doing in this photo?

Then May-Treanor turned her back to the president, offering her bikinied rear for one of the traditional slaps that volleyball players frequently give each other.
doesn't the fact that you can see both his tatoo and the suit he's wearing underneath indicate that the suit is transparent? at least partially?
and isn't that a violation of the FINA GR 5 rule on costumes???
(oh wait, now i remember, they changed that part of the rule too, suits can have transparent areas now...)
:notworking:
You know, I'm sooo not a tatoo person. However, if I was an Olympian, I do believe the Olympic rings is the one tatoo I might actually consider. Pretty cool.

There was a very clear picture in a national publication, possibly Men's Vogue (I didn't buy it), showing the Olympic rings on one hip and what looked like an M on the other hip. He was wearing his swimming costume pretty low.

Eamon Sullivan has an Olympic rings tat.
Any ladies with tats?
I personally dislike tattoos enormously. I saw the men's Vogue (given to me since I much prefer men's magazines over women's magazines) and was disappointed to see that Phleps had them and yes, the suit is very low.
That being said, I knew that Amanda Beard has tattoos and recently got one on her calf. So looked up the links for those interested.

And here is a comment from her:
Playboy has been known to airbrush out tattoos and you have a few. Did they airbrush yours out? (I haven’t actually seen the spread. I neither subscribe to the magazine nor want to purchase one from shelves in a store).
You know, done that in previous photo shoots that I’ve done but they didn’t do it in this one. I like it when they leave it in there because it’s like, airbrushing a birthmark or a freckle off of someone is kind of weird. You need to keep it as natural as possible. My tattoos are special to me, so I’m glad they left them. I have the three stars on my back, on the back of my neck I have the zodiac sign for Scorpio, and then on the back of my leg I have another star, and then on my other leg I have Ray tattooed on me which is my middle name, my dad’s middle name and my grandpa’s name.

To each his own, I guess...
I'm a big tattoo fan but the Olympic ring thing is stupid. If you are gonna get the rings, do something unique with them, like have shark swimming through them or something.
My neighbor, the dermatologist, says tattoos are job security for him, especially the tribal variety which are so awful that their body life is very short.
