46.06. Can he break 47 with a flat start? 46.06 indicates he can. Can he handle the pressure will be the question. That has to be the fastest relay split in history.

Relay starts offer the benefit of few tenths to nearly a second.
And the excitement of a neck and neck relay tends to get swimmers more riled up.
I would agree that he's got the speed and the strength to do it.
Based on a 24.56 for his second lap...if he gets to the wall with a 22 low, he should be able to do it.
