Well, he's going to have a heck of a lot more confidence going into the 100 free now. A low 46 is insane... can't wait see what he does again. No matter what happens, everyone who watched that relay is never going to forget Jason L.

That was incredible!!!! I thought the we were done when Bernard hit the water with half second lead. Then to see Lezak steal it from the french in the last 10 meters.... WOW! :woot::woot::woot:
Certainly the most exciting race I've ever seen. Heck even the last 5 meters looked unlikely that he would pull it off.

Relay starts offer the benefit of few tenths to nearly a second.
And the excitement of a neck and neck relay tends to get swimmers more riled up.
I would agree that he's got the speed and the strength to do it.
Based on a 24.56 for his second lap...if he gets to the wall with a 22 low, he should be able to do it.
