I knew it would be tough going but 4:09.59 doesn't make the final, wow, there are some fast women there. This final will be in-ter-esting.

The reason is that there are already some 32 swimming events and the IOC feels that this is enough. Maybe they will add the 800/1500 and the 50s, but with the drive to limit the amount of overall athletes, I don't see it happening.
Ziegler seemms really out of it - 4:09 is not just missing the final, that is a very bad swim. They will go out faster than that in the 800...
