Phelps just smashes the 400IM world record (4:03.84) and crushes the rest of the field. Second place Laszlo Cseh 2.32 seconds behind him. Not sure what happened to Lochte, though. He didn't even feature at 4:08.09.
If this is indicative of what is to come from Phelps for the rest of the games then it is going to be awesome to watch. He is just so far ahead of the rest of the pack. He ain't human!

It seems to me, if he can do it, he should be allowed to do it. The Olympics are about the best competing with the best. That said, Crocker shouldn't give one iota of mercy...let the chips fall where they may. :2cents:
