Phelps in a class of his own.

Phelps just smashes the 400IM world record (4:03.84) and crushes the rest of the field. Second place Laszlo Cseh 2.32 seconds behind him. Not sure what happened to Lochte, though. He didn't even feature at 4:08.09. If this is indicative of what is to come from Phelps for the rest of the games then it is going to be awesome to watch. He is just so far ahead of the rest of the pack. He ain't human!

Plus, Phelps is still on the skinny side. If you see some of these guys in person you won't think they're "skinny." Phelps is lean for sure, but he's kind of a monster. See the espn ad where Stuart Scott uses his medal for a coaster; look at phelps' back...not "skinny" That said, some of the distance guys of old weren't broad or bulky. You can have a slight build and be fast as long as your hands are big and you have a crazy metabolism.
