The USMS magazine is moderately interesting. Splash (USA Swimming) has a mix of interesting and silly (age group oriented) stuff.
What about Swimming World? I read some of the free online stuff but what about the paid-for magazine? Is it worth $30 a year?

Out of curiousity, what sort of content is in Swimming World that isn't in USMS that you enjoy? Does it come down to preferring coverage of the elite level more than coverage of masters?
