I'm dying to use an ipod while I swim.
Has anyone tried any of these devices?
The H20 is a waterproof case with earphones.....just bought it but hope that wasn't a mistake..(got online..haven't received to try out yet!)

I would love to have one. I did ask an OW swimmer how she liked hers and she loved it. She used the one that rests on your cheeks and sends vibrations through your cheek bones.
I haven't but I'm curious to know how you like it when you get it...Listening to music would sure help block out the screaming kids taking lessons:)

I would like to get one as well. I haven't seen much for reviews or how it's "worn"...as long as it doesn't impede stroke I think it would be a good idea.

What you are referring to is the SWIMP3 players.
I think what the original poster is referring to are the water tight cases that you can put an IPod into and swim with.
Personally...I would like to try the SWIMP3 players as well. You just download music directly to it, slip it under your goggles strap and the music transmits through your cheek bones to your ear. Works pretty well supposedly.
I purchased the H2Oaudio headset unit but returned it. The main problem was that the headphones would not stay in your ears. They are connected to rigid pieces which pull out very easily when swimming laps.
The SwimMan version looks far superior and I am eager to try it out. The main problem I have had is finding headphones that stay sealed.

I use the Swimp3 player, and absolutely love it, it is spectacular. Most of my swimming is done in the Ocean, and I usually swim about 2 miles at a time,..I have an eclectic mixture of music,..classical, rock, new age, spiritual ,blues, movie themes ( I had the theme from Jaws on it for about a year). Sunday I did a 5 mile rough water race which took almost 3 hours and the music got me thru it,..kind of like having a shrink with me.
I have not tried the IPOD but I do have the FINIS SwiMP3 player that I got from Amazon.com. I LOVE IT:woot:It just clipps on to your googles and of you go. To charge it you just plugg it in to a computer. Very small and compact.
