After last year's world champs, she said that she didn't enjoy swimming the 100 fly and 100 back so closely together. Personally I think that her 200 IM will be even more exciting than her 100 fly. Go Natalie!
Will Phelps really swim the 400 free? The 400 IM and 400 free are on the same day, separated by only the women's 100 fly.
How about Natalie Coughlin swimming the 200 free and 200 IM against Hoff? We're in for some very exciting battles.

50 Free is another loaded field --- looks even deeper than the 400 Free, but it's not going to be a great race itself to watch. I love watching the 50 Free for the excitement and power displayed - but I can't really enjoy the race. By the time I look at one or two swimmers it's already over.

I think you've hit this one. I think 21.99 or better will be needed just to MAKE finals. I think 21.58 will take it. I don't see anyone going faster than that, at least at Trials.

I can see Phelps swimming the 100 free and 100 back in the morning heats to put up times. Not only to consolidate his position on the 4x100 relay but to provide himself with two more potential paths to the medley relay.
