Hulk and I just shook internet hands on a 50 free Nationals gridge. The winner will be whoever gets the bigger time drop from Zones. That's a 2.28-second advantage for him.
Anyone else gridging in Austin?
Um, hate to tell you 100s are still sprints. I find myself starting to enjoy the pain of 100s. Yeah, I'm damaged.

Fine I'm a drop dead sprinter ... those 100s are long for me ... I'm all for adding 75s. 25s, 50s and 75s ... that'd be fabulous.
. Of course, said commenter has yet to swim the "sprint" 100 fly.
It's on my to do list. I was going to swim it at Zones but I had to swim the 2Free to get my daughter off my case. The next SCY meet I swim after Nats, the 100 Fly will be on the menu.

Fort want to go biggest time drop on the 50 free?
I hate the 50 free at the moment. :bitching: Plus, as I recall, you are due for a big drop as your 50 fly is almost as fast as your 50 free. That's a suckers' bet, lady.
Drop from seed time in 100 fly? Although I think you'll be killing your seed time in that race too ... Although, since our 50 fly times are so close now, we really should just race straight up!
we are?!? i agreed to this when exactly?
:dunno:
At zones, you said to me before our heat of the 50 back, "Who cares how we swim today? All that matters is Austin!" Do I not recall that correctly? I implied from that convo that you thought you would stomp me in Austin because you always have that taper in your pocket and I'm always wearing bodysuits at non-taper meets.

Congrats to JH for SMOKING a 21.04 50 Free. Wow, that was fast. And crushing me as I only went .05 under.
