I just swam a 100m free, 50m free, and 50m fly at a short course this past weekend. My wife stuck around to video me in both freestyle events. They're on youtube now. Not sure if they're clear enough but I'd appreciate any critiquing or suggestions for improvement. I'm in lane 4 on both with the yellow cap.
The 100 was split 29.46/30.40 for a 59.86
Don't know the 50 split but might try and do that next time. Thanks folks.

I thought both swims were good. I agree with everyone else that you could definitely improve your start. Also, your kick fades badly from the 50 to the 100. Most (not all) of the sprinters I knew and currently know have very impressive leg drive. Keep the legs working and learn to develop serious power with each stroke. Remember, you really don't have that many strokes in a 50 or 100. Every stroke counts, and you need to generate maximum power.
