I was going to drive up on Friday and Saturday for my events, but after driving to UT for a water polo tournament last weekend, I decided I would rather not deal with the I-35 traffic and got a hotel. I'm getting off work early on Thursday to drive up and beat rush hour traffic. I can't wait to meet everyone in person. :fish2:

Sadly, I am responding with a no to all activities. I had to cancel my flight yesterday because I can't go to the meet. :cry:
My dad is doing very poorly, in and out of the hospital. My son Patrick has a sleepover on the USS Hornet (with Cub Scouts) the Saturday of Nationals and Pat will take him. My mom was going to watch the other 3 while I went to Nationals. Needless to say my mom can't care for my dad and three children under 5! And in my wildest dreams I can't justify a "swim meet" instead of an activity for my son. So, I'm out.
I'm really bummed. I had decided that I really needed to get away and do two things I love: swim and socialize! I really wanted to meet all of you, finally. My only goals were: to swim faster than at our Pac Champs, which I was on target to do, drink some beer and have a great time.
Maybe next year...

With it being Cinco de Mayo weekend getting in anyplace is going to be a challenge.

It's tough when you have to sacrifice your social life to meet with LZR reps and beg for a suit.

Since I am traveling solo and without team, I'd like to join in on Friday and Saturday. I plan at being at the Sunday night blowout to drink Mel-Fort under the table.

It's a college town, so Cinco de Mayo probably is a full weekend.
