The women's team swims lights out at conferance and craters at NCAA's now the men are in a battle to finish 4th... No one ever revealed the entire story behind Marsh's departure...interesting that Quick was brought in mid-season...takes the rains...and now we see the results...so...one more year or is he gone after this season?

Evidence? People want evidence-direct or circumstantial? Marsh was taking a couple of swimmers to a World Cup meet, swimming them and then taking them off his roster and out of school but through a loop hole in the rules for "other" sports, still having these swimmers available for dual, conference and NCAAs! (Actual direct evidence) He did it in Long Island! If a coach will do this-what else will he or she do? To win? Look up David Maras and his teammate as two swimmers who this was done with in either 06 or 07 in Long Island, not Europe/overseas for the intent of the rule! He leaves the Plains where he was making with camps amounts exceeding $200K and goes to a Club program where USS has to subsidize his salary to the tune of $100K in order for him to earn a comparatible amount. (Direct evidence) And, the Swimming Excellence Center has done nothing yet-in fairness, give him a chance. (Direct evidence) In previous years, Auburn had more than the maximum number of swimmers (20+) capable of scoring at NCAAs on 9.9 scholarships-how? How were the foreign swimmers handled? Paid? Where were these athletes housed? Was it subsidized? Do people not like "rumors" or the "uncomfortable questions" being raised on this list? I think the real questions have answers that appear "self explanatory" and the reality is only altered through the lense that one views the evidence. I would trust that on forums like this, individuals would be tolerant of opinions they may not agree with, just as in my opinion, Coach Marsh had a very graceful exit, regardless of what the reason or reasons were.
