Im in lifeguard tryouts and I need to be able to swim 3/10 mile in 11 minutes which i did today in exactly 11 minutes but next week i need to be able to swim it in 10 minutes to get the job so i was wanted to know if you guys could tell me any training or swimming tips or if its even possible to progress that much in a week. ok, thanks ill try it today. I dont have any problem swimming short distances but after a few laps i get really tired and i cant swim a 100 yard in 1:40 any more. So i guess i should just try some breathing exercises too.
