Is anyone out there besides Ande wearing racing suits in practice? I've never done it before, but was wondering it it's worth the bother to throw an old fastskin on for time periodically or during taper?
I wear practice suits in races (any and all races leading up to the BIG shave and taper meet). I'd say it's because I'm poor and cheap (I am) but really it's because I fear wrecking the mojo of my racing suit by wearing it in an unrested meet. Now, if I'm this nutty about my magic racing suit at meets, how could I contemplate wearing it at practice???? :doh:
However, Ande makes a good point about how you have to feel used to the suit. I will have to weigh that against my neuroses...
