Yup as simple as that...take what you're eating and doing now, but just shave off a few seconds from each interval and get back to me...

I can't eat before swimming either, but when I get up in the mornings I need something. Try eating just some bread or something light like that. I find, and read, that this will help. Of course you don't need to eat bread, but this is what I've found to work the best for me.

I guess I should add it would have meant commencing a workout at 8pm instead of my 6:30, which I just wasn't physically up for yesterday. If had planned for an 8pm I would have had a powerbar or toast etc.
