I see a lot of forum members from my general area and am wondering if any of you are going to the meet in Richmond on February 9 and 10. I feel like I almost know some of you even though all I really know about you is whether or not you feel like Dara Torres is doping and what your swimming pet peeves are.
In just six short days, I will get to experience my first ever 500 free. I am nervous about going out too fast since that has been my tendency in practices (regardless of the workout). All I can hope is that I beat my seed time. That's a whole lot of laps. Good thing someone will count for me!:applaud:
I will also swim the 200 br, the 50 fr, the 200 fr and the 50 bk. The 200 br and the 50 fr are the events I'm hoping to smoke on Sunday. I have yet to break :30 for the 50 fr and I've been hitting :31 mids on a push in practice. :drown:
