How close should you go to the wall for a flip turn in free style?? For me it depends on how strong my pull is, I would just experiment until i find a distance that gives me a good turn.
Keep in mind that you should have momentum coming into the wall, so what may be too far when you start your turn may be just right by the time you are ready to push off.
