What are your 2008 Swimming New Years Resolutions?
What have you been procrastinating?
Mine are to:
1) lose weight (go from 215 to 205 or better) and
2) do a few more SDK's on hard swims when I'm tired

A girl has a 6 minute seed time for 1000 Free? I think that _might_ be a typo. It's a shame that the meet was so far away, my daughter would love to swim in it as a 9yo.
As for you, you Animal :wine:, way to go. I couldn't live up to your seed times :whiteflag:. Even the 1000 Free would be a struggle :drown:. My hats off to you. Good luck!!!!

Thanks for the kind wishes! At this point, prayer sounds like a good resort as well. I'll let you know how it goes. Worse case, I know that I'll have some funny stories to report. My husband is going to be my counter for the 1000 free. But he doesn't know how many laps it is. . . and he asked if I need a counter for the 400 IM. He has so much to learn. . .
