Wow, someone with some similar and achievable goals to me. What age group are you in? I've been after that sub-1 min 100 SCY free for years, gave up for a while and did more weights and technique, but I'm planning to do a meet this year, maybe I'll finally get it. What 3 events are you close to NQT's? I'm on the fringe for all ***. Not that I'll go to nationals, but that's a good goal. I can do a 25 fly, beyond that I switch to drill. I really need to dedicate some time to learning that also.... Been doing masters for almost 10 years. I started in the 25-29 age group, and things were much easier, especially 200 BR. Times are much more competitive in the 35-39 (where I am now) and don't look to be getting easier for 20+ years. I am in the 18-24 year old age group. I am at 1:01 for the 100 free. There were 2 times that I thought I was going to beat it. The 1st time my goggles popped off halfway through the race and the 2nd time I flipped too early on the last wall and missed it completely. I have a NQT in the 1650 free. I got 2nd last year at Federal Way. I am close in the 50 free, 500 free, 50 back, 200 IM, and 400 IM.
