  • Break 1 minute in the 100 free. Break 2:20 in the 200 free Break 6 minutes in the 500 free Break 22 minutes in the 1650 free Do as many of the long distance postal events as I can including the 10K. Get NQT's in at least 3 events. Learn how to swim butterfly. Get better at my starts and turns. Wow, someone with some similar and achievable goals to me. What age group are you in? I've been after that sub-1 min 100 SCY free for years, gave up for a while and did more weights and technique, but I'm planning to do a meet this year, maybe I'll finally get it. What 3 events are you close to NQT's? I'm on the fringe for all ***. Not that I'll go to nationals, but that's a good goal. I can do a 25 fly, beyond that I switch to drill. I really need to dedicate some time to learning that also.... Been doing masters for almost 10 years. I started in the 25-29 age group, and things were much easier, especially 200 BR. Times are much more competitive in the 35-39 (where I am now) and don't look to be getting easier for 20+ years.
