I'll have no need for meets now. Got enough competition training in my poly during practices. Plus, why go from using technological advancement back to the stone age? As one of my friends said this past Auburn meet, it would be like making tennis players go back to the wooden racquet. I'll pass. At least I have a high tech car. I think when we ask what happened today in the locker room we are just requesting what bad bad behaviour went on in the locker room. ViveBene Cockroaches do have rights also. Leave them alone or just get out of the locker room and change on the deck. I recognize there is some conflict over rights; however, territory must be defended and a perimeter watch set. One woman I see infrequently has initiated 7 conversations by asking me how much my suit costs, for the purpose of informing me she pays less. Next time I will tell her it was free. Pretty mild behavior in the locker rooms. Genial, considerate, some discussion of the set we have just swum or an upcoming meet or is the water too hot or too cold today (can't adjust), and what happens to all the suits we inadvertently leave behind that disappear into thin air.

My favorite locker room "moment" occurred when I was in high school during the '70s. I had spent a week with my best friend at her grandparents place in Laguna Beach, CA during Spring Break. While there I bought a really nice "teenie-weenie" bikini. Upon returning to school, it turns out we needed to wear a swim suit in gym class so our posture could be checked. Well, of course I wore my new bikini. The girl who had a locker next to mine apparantly was jealous and went so far as to accuse me of stuffing my top to appear larger. Well, without even thinking, I quickly pulled my top up exposing my chest, and said "Does this look stuffed to you?" I don't think I've seen anyone turn a brighter shade of red than that girl.
