Here's a thread for the ladies to discuss anything that relates to women and swimming. For example, feel free to discuss how disgustingly ugly fastskins are, how the "curse" can kill a meet, how suits don't fit, how swimming wrecks your hair, how hormones unhinge you, etc.
No tan.
:(
My shoes and purse are very sparkly, so I'm not going to put much jewelry on... I'm a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl and my husband is lucky that I'm dressing up for this. Anyways, my ring is plenty enough bling - it's a 10 carat quartz ring.
:D
I think the ensemble sounds fabulous! You'll look great. I love halter dresses. But no earrings?! Horrors.
If you have a nice tan, a pale frosty polish would look neat IMHO. A wide shimmery bracelet for jewelry seems quite in with perhaps dangly earrings (earings depend on hair style), and that should be enough bling to make a nice elegant fashionable statement; or are you wanting to make a different impression?
I just got back from Mexico and have a great tan do you think this would work for me. Or do you think it would make me into a girly man?

Geo-I think if you put on silver polish, it will blind your opponents in OW swimming, thereby making you one smart tactician! No 'girly-man' label for you!
What does everyone do with their old suits once they are no longer wearable? Would anyone consider recycling them by donating what is left of them to a worthwhile charity project? If so I have a great use for them!

Ok... what does this mean? I have been searching past posts and I can't find any explanation.
;)
Geek was wondering whether it was appropriate to call women "girls." I attempted to explain that we are sometimes referred to as "girls" when joking around -- "You go girl" etc. So Geek coined the term "fegirl" instead of "female." I like his new word, so plan to keep using it. :)
Sounds like you will have color enough from the outfit, I would just get the nails buffed unless it is a really wild occasion-- then frosty green fingernails and silver toes! Boldness is always rewarded.
