Food for swimming

Well I have been reading through all of these posts and they are extremely informative on the swimming aspect, but was wondering if anyone has any recommendations/recipes for some great swimming food? Was thinking a nice chicken stir fry over rice. Not going on a diet and don't think I am dedicated enough to do the 6 small meals per day thing, just a regular 3 meals a day *** that pretty much cut out fast foods since I began 3 weeks ago. Also, is it more important to have a meal before or after a workout? I always seem to be hungry coming out of the pool after a workout regardless of eating an hour before. Thanks in advance

I will have to buy some more whey protein. I have used it in the past. I am sure that is what I need as sometimes I am pretty worn out and by the time I get to the van I am in need for some energy as I have a 35 min drive to work. I am excited about incorporating better food options. It is time. No point in swimming hard and not eating right. They go hand in hand. Katie
