What killed me is how the rain started RIGHT AFTER the very last event.
I stayed one more day -- saw some waterfalls and took my son to the science museum -- and the weather was quite cool.
The heat wave coincided EXACTLY with the swim meet!
And it rained all day Monday. I left at 10:30pm Monday night and it was still raining. Rain in Aug in Oregon is not typical. Oct through March - typical.
