Hi - I'm new to swimming. Can anyone recommend a post swim skin lotion and / or shower gel brand that both helps remove chlorine and helps with dry skin?
Also - I saw someone using a pre-swim lotion that is supposed to help fend off the chlorine, but I wasn't quick enough to ask him what it was. General google searches haven't yielded any results. Anyone know what this is and where to get it?

For hair I use Nexxus Aloe Rid once a week. I also like the Nexxus Humectress conditioner and the Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm. Supposedly if you get your hair wet before you get in the pool it will keep it from absorbing as much chlorine, but who wants to do all that?

As for skin, I eventually build up an immunity to moisturizers, but I have been enjoying a good run with Eucerin Calming Cream, "for relief of skin so dry it itches."

My husband says I smell like chlorine, and my kids say my car smells like "the pool." Personally, I don't even notice it anymore. At least I don't leave a ring in the bathtub! :joker:
