Hi - I'm new to swimming. Can anyone recommend a post swim skin lotion and / or shower gel brand that both helps remove chlorine and helps with dry skin?
Also - I saw someone using a pre-swim lotion that is supposed to help fend off the chlorine, but I wasn't quick enough to ask him what it was. General google searches haven't yielded any results. Anyone know what this is and where to get it?

...I literally just licked my skin after walking 10 minutes in the sun in a black t-shirt and jeans, and nothing. So, I guess my skin or the two pools I swim in are different than yours...
maybe your pools don't use chlorine???
either that or you haven't been swimming as long as the rest of us and haven't built up the "residual chlorine smell" yet...
if they are chlorine, give it time- you'll eventually smell like it no matter how hard you try to get rid of it...
