Dara just one the national title in the 100M Freestyle in 54.4 at the ripe old age of 40. Simply Incredible. :applaud: :woot:
If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.
I noticed that Dara Torres wears old-school speedo goggles watching the Olympics.

"Torres arrived at the Stanford pool with outdated bug-eyed goggles..."
Good for her, I never cared for the new vanquisher goggles.
I cheered for Dara's daring (and old-school) over-the-cap goggle strap placement. I can no longer think of those who put their goggle straps under their caps as a little bit wussy (since most of the best swimmers in the US do that). But, 10 years ago I used to think it a sure sign of goggle insecurity. Perhaps most of today's swimmers do it so that their names on their caps won't be covered by the goggle strap.
