Stanford, CALIF — Dara Torres thought that by confronting whispers about performance-enhancing drugs she could put any doubts to rest on how she made her fifth Olympic swimming team as a 41-year-old mother.
No such luck. She’s still hearing a torrent of questions and suspicions about her ever-improving results that only figures to intensify once Torres gets to Beijing.....
