No that is not proof.
It proves that a certain country's Olympic Committee has no guts to put out the truth and until it does there still is no proof.
Are you serious? No GUTS? Give me a break. Maybe they have concern for the person and her family. Let her get out and be with her family before they release an official statement. That is the decent thing to do in a situation lke this. This story has been leaked (interesting if they discover who leaked it) and the official statement will probably be released tomorrow after the team meets to discuss who takes her place in Beijing.
