Perhaps it was my statement about my being a mother and what I would want my son's wife to be doing. Sorry, but what mother would like it if her son's wife left him with their child for a month? :rolleyes: Probably was that part of it yes, We all want the best for our kids but in the end it's their choice. If he marries a femjock then it's part of the deal. If he marries a Vegas Showgirl...late nights and skimpy outfits are part of the deal. People do not suddenly change to suit a new wife or husband, patterns of behaviour be it work or leisure are part of the person that an individual falls for. It's no fair to expect someone to drop that to suit in-laws or or what not. Sounds like I'm lecturing but don't intend to come off that way. Just illustrating using your point. I don't think you're expecting your son to marry a girl and then have her drop everything for your tastes, just stating that you don't want to see him upset over it--if this case was about his relationship.
