Dara just one the national title in the 100M Freestyle in 54.4 at the ripe old age of 40. Simply Incredible. :applaud: :woot: If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.

The bigger question in my mind is the exponential increase in the number of athletes using the inhalers...USA Today and SI I believe both had articles on the subject in recent years. So is it (un)common for middle age adults to start using them...I thought typically people with asthma or breathing problems requiring the use of inhalers usually had the problem early on in their lives? I used to think the same thing. About two years ago my wife was diagnosed with asthma at the age of 32 after having suffered breathing problems for the prior 5 or 6 months. The MD said it was not uncommon for these things to develop later in life. This is not to say that many athletes are not looking for a diagnosis in order to obtain a prescription though. No doubt there are many of those.
