Dara just one the national title in the 100M Freestyle in 54.4 at the ripe old age of 40. Simply Incredible. :applaud: :woot:
If that's not inspiring I don't know what is.
Folks this is getting ridiculous. I thought this country's justice system was based on the premise of innocent until proven guilty. Personally I don't give a turkey if she ground up dried bat guano and injected it into her veins. The only relevant FACT here is that DT has NEVER FAILED A DRUG TEST. So based upon that, she's CLEAN. Until she fails a test for something that is illegal, SHE HASN'T BROKEN ANY LAWS, RULES, GUIDELINES, etc. Regardless of what anyone thinks, she hasn't done anything wrong that anyone can PROVE.
Sure, it's amazing what she has done, sure it looks suspicious that she's the first person who has ever performed at that level at that age but doesn't anything start with only one? And is she the first one? How about Wally Dicks? I seem to remember something about him being the oldest man ever to qualify for the Trials, hmm, what was he using?
Or how about this? Remember 30 years ago when 25 was considered over the hill for an Olympic swimmer?
Give it a rest, please. The direction this thread has taken is sad. Until someone has clear and irrefutable proof that DT did something against the law/rules, I'm cheering my heart out for her.
