I see that you can't get the old style of speedo goggles (big roundish lenses with foam pads, plastic noisepiece with adjustment notches, rubber strap). I'm kind of disappointed because that was the kind I always used, and my current pair are wearing out. I tried a couple new styles of goggles that I'm not completely happy with, like 'speedo vanquisher'. what exactly was wrong with the old style and why did they have to go and change it? they were cheap, comfortable, functional, and you could get replacement parts like new straps when the old one wore out.

I seem to be building a collection of goggles. The aqua spheres are my latest and they seem promising, although I haven't found the right balance between adjustment and comfort to keep the water out all the time. The old speedos were definitely the best.
