old school speedo goggles

I see that you can't get the old style of speedo goggles (big roundish lenses with foam pads, plastic noisepiece with adjustment notches, rubber strap). I'm kind of disappointed because that was the kind I always used, and my current pair are wearing out. I tried a couple new styles of goggles that I'm not completely happy with, like 'speedo vanquisher'. what exactly was wrong with the old style and why did they have to go and change it? they were cheap, comfortable, functional, and you could get replacement parts like new straps when the old one wore out.

I know what you mean. I've tried a number of different types, and none fit well at all. I ended up buying 4-5 pairs a couple of years ago, now I'm on my last pair I think. You can get them off the internet, or at least you used to be able to get them off the net as of last year.
