old school speedo goggles

I see that you can't get the old style of speedo goggles (big roundish lenses with foam pads, plastic noisepiece with adjustment notches, rubber strap). I'm kind of disappointed because that was the kind I always used, and my current pair are wearing out. I tried a couple new styles of goggles that I'm not completely happy with, like 'speedo vanquisher'. what exactly was wrong with the old style and why did they have to go and change it? they were cheap, comfortable, functional, and you could get replacement parts like new straps when the old one wore out.

I'm temporarily using some women's vanquishers. I had leaking issues until I adjusted the nose piece unevenly (maybe I'm unsymetrical) and it helped. I'm not a big vanquisher or speedo fan - I loved my TYR T-72 Femmes which I crushed the other day.
