I see that you can't get the old style of speedo goggles (big roundish lenses with foam pads, plastic noisepiece with adjustment notches, rubber strap). I'm kind of disappointed because that was the kind I always used, and my current pair are wearing out. I tried a couple new styles of goggles that I'm not completely happy with, like 'speedo vanquisher'. what exactly was wrong with the old style and why did they have to go and change it? they were cheap, comfortable, functional, and you could get replacement parts like new straps when the old one wore out.

Actually I think the speedo vanquishers will be okay. Instead of an adjustable nosepiece, it has 4 different size nosepieces. I popped out the existing piece and moved to the next larger, and the fit is better.
Also I may check out those swedish goggles I've seen people wearing. The ones with no foam or rubber seal of any type, just plastic eyepieces, a piece of string for the nosepiece, and a strap. Pretty cheap and they seem servicable, I just wonder how well they work and if they leak at all.
