I am attending a conference at the www.doralarrowwood.com/default.asp in Rye Brook New York. Is their somewhere nearby I can get some swimming in along the coast of the Long Island Sound?
Thanks

I have a follow-up question. I found that to swim in the LI Sound I must pay a $20 car fee and a $6.00 fee per person to swim in the LI Sound!
Given that I am driving from www.doralarrowwood.com/default.asp in Rye Brook New York where I am attending a conference is their any area nearby where I can swim in the LI Sound AND avoid the steep daily fee?
By the way I unfortunately wont be able to particpate in the http://www.gscevents.org/ as I am arriving in the area late Saturday night.
By the way if any USMS Masters swimmer would be willing to pick me up Sunday morning at my hotel and wants to swim with me in the Sound I will pay for the car fee and your fee also.
Also do I need a wet suit to swim in the LI Sound? How cold is it?
Thanks swimmers.
