Ack! After my practice today, I clumsily dropped my monofin right on top of my toes. The blade left sizeable cuts on two toes, one almost requiring stitches. I bled all over the pool deck as I limped to the office for gauze and tape. The lifeguards were amazed: "How did you do that? What is that thing? (Answer: It's a monofin; I'm a masters swimmer.) What is a masters swimmer?" Not sure about my scheduled run for tomorrow am ... :shakeshead: Kind of a weird swimming "injury." I have bad MF carrying technique.
(Ande: I did plenty of shooters without the MF too!)

Gosh, I get ouchie scars on the top of my feet from my fins chaffing, but wow! I can't even imagine monofin cuts across my toes. Ick, bluck, waf, yucko!:cry:
